SHAKER VILLAGE HERBAL TEAS
Since 1799, the Sabbathday Lake Shakers in Maine have cultivated and packaged popular varieties of herbs and medicinal teas. Their herbs are grown in gardens more than 200 years old, dried in a facility built in 1845, and packaged in tin canisters just like those used by their forbears throughout the 1800s.
Herbal tea flavors available include:
Ginger Lemon - A spicy, robust blend of ginger pieces, lemongrass, lemon peel, licorice, and spearmint.
Fruit Blend Tea - A light dessert tea containing rose hips, lemon grass, hibiscus, peppermint, and orange peel.
Camomile - Apple-like taste; a great nightcap with calming properties. Tea made famous in Peter Rabbit.
Peppermint - Heady minty flavor; serve hot or cold. Excellent after-dinner tea.
